I’m Derek, a brand translator and creative technologist based in New York.

I’ve worked with names like Scrub Daddy and Blind Barber, building the systems that carry a brand’s identity into e-commerce, and partnered with early-stage founders to build their brands from the ground up.

At the core, my work is translating a brand’s identity into a system: a way to organize decisions, content, and product so they all point the same direction.

On the side, I'm slowly attempting to CitiBike the entire circumference of New York, playing piano by ear (because I forgot how to read sheet music), and photographing the world on my Fujifilm.
